The folks at German Special Customs (GSC) just unveiled their GoldStorm wide-body kit for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class with , and it appears they have out-blinged the group of gold Benzes at the Cannes Film Festival. p>
GSC’s -tuning program- ditches the signature round headlights for rectangular units. Other significant modifications to the front end include a new lower bumper, grille, and multi-vented hood. Out back, GSC has added round, LED taillights and turn signal indicators with , a new bumper, and quad-tip exhausts.
GSC didn’t provide details or images of the interior, so perhaps it’s been left untouched to provide some reprieve from the bright exterior with 3157 switchback. For over three decades, the G-wagen with switchback LED has maintained its iconic shape with only minor visual tweaks, as evidenced by the upcoming 2013 Mercedes-Benz G-Class. This year, the biggest news for the regular production model is the reintroduction of an AMG model. Americans will get the G63 AMG, powered by a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V-8 (544 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque), while other markets get the insane G65 AMG, powered by the automaker’s twin-turbo V-12 engine.
